He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 6 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Cristi. The supporters of Equipo booed when Cougars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Păuceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Cougars FC's Bianco Natale got a free kick in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Cristi got free with Arnoud de Pelsmakere in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cougars FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Morales in the 27th minute. Cougars FC's Angel Morales was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Furman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 29 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Mehat Kovaçi came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Equipo's zone, Mehat Kovaçi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Furman came out of the goal and Mehat Kovaçi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Equipo's Juliusz Cezar got a free kick in the 39th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Cristi to strike the kick off in the second half. Mehat Kovaçi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ismael Furman made a huge save. If Mehat Kovaçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Equipo's Ismael Furman got control of the ball when Mehat Kovaçi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cougars FC made a substitution. Gerardo Nesto replaced Angel Morales. A sloppy throw-in by Horia Păuceanu in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Equipo's Pietro Salles. With an all-out effort, Cougars FC's Ismael Furman threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerardo Nesto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Nesto in the 89th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Equipo got a freekick which was hit by Pietro Salles. Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge came free and shot a quick shot against goal 91 minutes in the game, fortunately Ismael Furman had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Cougars FC's attack was well implemented in the 91st minute, but when Steffen Gimlinge was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Ismael Furman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 95th minute Steffen Gimlinge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
