Mehat Kovaçi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oliver Kan came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehat Kovaçi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 8th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oliver Kan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Oliszewski in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Cyprian Oliszewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ORIZABA F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, Cyprian Oliszewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arnoud de Pelsmakere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the ORIZABA F.C. defense, Mehat Kovaçi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliver Kan. The ORIZABA F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Kan should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Cyprian Oliszewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Cougars FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyprian Oliszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Cyprian Oliszewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyprian Oliszewski ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Oliszewski came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mehat Kovaçi came free, but Oliver Kan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Hilario Izquierdo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ORIZABA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cougars FC the free kick. The supporters of Cougars FC booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Izquierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Mehat Kovaçi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cougars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehat Kovaçi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Cougars FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ORIZABA F.C. were winning 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyprian Oliszewski made a kick off. Mehat Kovaçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Kan having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Mehat Kovaçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Kan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehat Kovaçi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliver Kan having to make a save. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s Cyprian Oliszewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoud de Pelsmakere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Cougars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladimir Herrera to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Steffen Gimlinge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Kan. ORIZABA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steffen Gimlinge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3. Steffen Gimlinge took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Kan. Oliver Kan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the ORIZABA F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cougars FC.
