Oliver Kan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Töpper in the 20th minute of play. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Verheydt in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Jaroslaw Maurycy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ORIZABA F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Laureano Eusko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaroslaw Maurycy. ORIZABA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vampiros Aztecas the free kick. The supporters of Vampiros Aztecas booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Beattie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macedonio Fonticoba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, ORIZABA F.C.'s Julian Kosakowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Eusko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The supporters of ORIZABA F.C. booed when Vampiros Aztecas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Verheydt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vampiros Aztecas's Rolf Weyand was substituted for Macedonio Fonticoba. After 79 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Verheydt. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Laureano Eusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Thomas Verheydt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alcino Sarmento lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Alcino Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Verheydt came free, but Oliver Kan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Kan made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Rolf Weyand sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ORIZABA F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vampiros Aztecas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
