Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Urdaspal in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Kan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Cyprian Oliszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Roman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Galácticos del Pueblo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fabian Urdaspal hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Leoncio Huerta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roch Roman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Oliszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Urdaspal was the one to do the kick off. If Fabian Urdaspal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Galácticos del Pueblo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslaw Maurycy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Galácticos del Pueblo made a substitution. Liam Bray replaced Fabian Urdaspal. Liam Bray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Kan having to interfere. Roch Roman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Maurycy in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Galácticos del Pueblo booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liam Bray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Kan having to interfere. ORIZABA F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
