Paulo Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 11th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Rosio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Alonzo Niguel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cougars FC the free kick. In the 21st minute, Alonzo Niguel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Nunez Pacho was substituted for Remigio Handi. Paulo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Mehat Kovaçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Cougars FC got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Guimarães. Atletas Campesinos F.C. were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Cougars FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pepe Burris took the corner. The corner led Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Pepe Burris to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnoud de Pelsmakere despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Mehat Kovaçi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Rosio was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehat Kovaçi in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Rosio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere got control of the ball when Luís Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mehat Kovaçi made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehat Kovaçi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Federigo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Paulo Rosio made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mehat Kovaçi sent off a good shot on target. Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Federigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio got control of the ball when Mehat Kovaçi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge was substituted for Mehat Kovaçi. In the 84th play minute Steffen Gimlinge came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Rosio. 0-2. Steffen Gimlinge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Paulo Rosio made a huge save. Steffen Gimlinges short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Paulo Rosio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Steffen Gimlinge took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Paulo Rosio to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cougars FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
