Ayhan Vuralhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inocencio Paublo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cougars FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgard Magdaleno was slow to take the kick. During this time Tequileros FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tequileros FC's Venancio Azeari to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnoud de Pelsmakere despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Mehat Kovaçi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tequileros FC's Ayhan Vuralhan. Ayhan Vuralhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
