An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Astete in the 5th minute of play forced CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW's goalkeeper Dariusz Jaroszewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Butler in the 9th minute of play forced Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Enrique Caldero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Caldero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Puzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Refugio Izaga kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Resistencia Tayrona FC's zone, Karl-Henry Schweinsteiger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The supporters of CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW booed when Resistencia Tayrona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santxo Bango didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dawid Czempa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW got a freekick which was hit by Borys Gecionis. If Saverio Astete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Refugio Izaga. Dariusz Jaroszewicz made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Saverio Astete sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute Saverio Astete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Jaroszewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dariusz Jaroszewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Astete's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Saverio Astete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dariusz Jaroszewicz was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alan Butler was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Saverio Astete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Borys Gecionis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Navarro Escalona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resistencia Tayrona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Navarro Escalona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dariusz Jaroszewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dariusz Jaroszewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Astete in the 62nd minute of the match. Dariusz Jaroszewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Astete, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute, Saverio Astete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dariusz Jaroszewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Demesio Reganado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Resistencia Tayrona FC were the better team. Resistencia Tayrona FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
