After 13 minutes of play, Buenaventura FC's Walter Bock made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dariusz Jaroszewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Toledo got free with Toro Martínez in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Jairo de Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Dariusz Jaroszewicz. CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW's Dariusz Jaroszewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 22nd minute of play. Dariusz Jaroszewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Bock in the 26th minute of play. If André-Pierre Gignac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Aizprua hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Moscoso got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Wojciech Degutis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Toro Martínez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alan Butler to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonidas Moscoso. With an all-out effort, Buenaventura FC's Dariusz Jaroszewicz threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Walter Bock, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 60th minute, Alan Butler made a precise shot to the right of Toro Martínez. Buenaventura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 67th minute, Jairo de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW's Dariusz Jaroszewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 71st minute of play. Toro Martínez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Butler went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. André-Pierre Gignac struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Dariusz Jaroszewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenaventura FC. Dariusz Jaroszewicz stood somewhat misplaced when André-Pierre Gignac came free in front of goal and shot 4-4 to the left of him in the 79 minute. With an all-out effort, Buenaventura FC's Dariusz Jaroszewicz threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jairo de Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Buenaventura FC's Jairo de Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Jaroszewicz. That made the score 4-5 after 84 minutes of play. If Walter Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Jairo de Azevedo made it 4-6 with a short kick to the right side. CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW's Dariusz Jaroszewicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Buenaventura FC played a much better game than CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW and deserved their victory. The CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
