Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Philip Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Pinto in the 3rd minute of play. Philip Doyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Bonifacio Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Pinto in the 19th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Pinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Philip Doyle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Philip Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Iigo in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baydan Prunty in the 35th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Álvarez's goalkeeper Maximino Constancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Juan Hvalica notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Philip Doyle. Philip Doyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximino Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cormac Dillon in the 41st minute of the match. Cormac Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Pinto to maneuver through the defense. When Brannon Gillmour came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ballybunion Celtic F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannon Gillmour couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bonifacio Pinto made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brenda MaCollin during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brenda MaCollin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Maximino Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cormac Dillon in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Oihan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Álvarez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballybunion Celtic F.C. the free kick. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Deportivo Álvarez! Club Deportivo Álvarez:s Maximino Constancio showed great skill when he stopped Ryleigh McLaughlin:s penalty. In the 66th minute, Ryleigh McLaughlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Constancio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 69th minute, Epifanio Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cormac Dillon, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Baydan Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Constancio having to interfere. Club Deportivo Álvarez made a substitution. Santiago Peio replaced Cirilo Bingen. Juan Hvalica received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Philip Doyle came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Hvalica slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Argider in the 91st minute of play forced Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Philip Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cormac Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Deportivo Álvarez's Paulo Maiorga was substituted for Bonifacio Pinto. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Deportivo Álvarez eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
