In the 3rd minute Gerard López shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Millano came free, but Philip Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cormac Dillon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Nicasio Benino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cormac Dillon sped through Amelie FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicasio Benino. Nicasio Benino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blair Keegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Harman in the 16th minute of play forced Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Philip Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Brannon Gillmour fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cormac Dillon charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cormac Dillon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Ballybunion Celtic F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cormac Dillon. Cormac Dillon was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Cormac Dillon got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard López in the 27th minute of play forced Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Philip Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Kasprzak in the 28th minute of the match. When Amelie FC's Nicolas Millano in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marcial Leoiar made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Brenda MaCollin. In the 41st minute, Gerard López made a precise shot to the right of Philip Doyle. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Millano to make the kick off. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Philip Doyle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ballybunion Celtic F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 56 minutes Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcial Leoiar who took care of the corner kick. Amelie FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcial Leoiar took the corner. Philip Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Bartuelo in the 66th minute of play. Konrad Kasprzak scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip Doyle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Kasprzak came free, but Philip Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baydan Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Benino having to interfere. Amelie FC's Nicasio Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baydan Prunty in the 79th minute of play. When %teams%'s Nicolas Millano was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-3 just inside the left pole, 80 minutes into the game. Philip Doyle was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Walmyr Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Nicasio Benino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baydan Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ryleigh McLaughlin in the 87th minute. Brannon Gillmour was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Nicasio Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baydan Prunty in the 90th minute of play. The Amelie FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Amelie FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
