Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Buenaventura FC's Walter Bock started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 5th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Las Casas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André-Pierre Gignac, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Pirazzoli. Toro Martínez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Aravena in the 9th minute. Toro Martínez came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Magallanes's Luis Aravena. But to his dismay, Luis Aravena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Godofredo Pirazzoli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Toro Martínez, 3-0. 25 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Toro Martínez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Aravena. After 26 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo de Azevedo. 27 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Pirazzoli came free, but Toro Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Las Casas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André-Pierre Gignac in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Vladimiro Leroy hit a great ball. Luis Aravena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toro Martínez having to interfere. In the 47th play minute Luis Aravena came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Toro Martínez. 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Aravena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walter Bock kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Alberto Aizprua's late challenge caught a Magallanes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Aizprua helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Aizprua to maneuver through the defense. Quintén Darrigrande shot a long shot in the 53rd minute and a light blocked Toro Martínez hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 6-1. Emilio Formoso kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Luis Aravena hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 60th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Bock got free with Tomás Las Casas in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Fritz to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Buenaventura FC's Tomás Las Casas threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André-Pierre Gignac, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomás Las Casas came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Buenaventura FC's Walter Bock. But to his dismay, Walter Bock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 76th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Magallanes from getting a goal against them. Alberto Aizprua got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Alberto Aizprua got a free kick in the 79th minute. Tomás Las Casas made an important save on a dangerous shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André-Pierre Gignac in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Las Casas saved Magallanes from getting behind. Magallanes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Buenaventura FC for a fine match.
