Israel Contreras made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Luiz Netto sent off a good shot on target. OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Gaspar in the 18th minute of play. Israel Contreras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Gaspar in the 26th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Renascença A.C.'s Valdir Gaspar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Israel Contreras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Netto went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Kauã Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Pacheco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Portuguez kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Valdir Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Nicolas Portuguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OROTINENSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Portuguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 3-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Luiz Netto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Renascença A.C.'s Jairo Jesus got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Renascença A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Netto. Israel Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute, Kauã Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Netto came free, but Israel Contreras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Fabio Pacheco lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Fred Freire. Fabio Pachecos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Fred Freire to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Renascença A.C.'s Jairo Jesus got a free kick in the 86th minute. Greivin Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Renascença A.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while OROTINENSE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
