After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Pedro Vander got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Dante came free, but Israel Contreras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Contreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes, Rodrigo Oviedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OROTINENSE and the Maverick Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rodrigo Oviedo hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Sérgio Dante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 24th minute Eurico Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, OROTINENSE's Caio dos Santos threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriel Duran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Israel Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eurico Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Dante hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a little luck, OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras got control of the ball when Sérgio Dante tried to sneak it across the goal line. 2-3 became the score in the 60th minute when Percival Marinho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 64th minute Fabio Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Abel Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OROTINENSE the free kick. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Abel Coutinho hit a great ball. Mikael Viquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caio dos Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Israel Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save OROTINENSE from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Mazza got free with Israel Contreras in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikael Viquez scored 3-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caio dos Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Fabio Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot. OROTINENSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Pacheco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caio dos Santos came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's Gabriel Duran. But to his dismay, Gabriel Duran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Percival Marinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Israel Contreras firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Mazza in the 95th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Israel Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. OROTINENSE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maverick Futebol Clube for a fine match.
