Sidnei da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavin Warner in the 41st minute of play. Albertinho Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rozen Lipsky having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Jairo Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renascença A.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Jesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toren Potterman in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidnei da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renascença A.C.'s Sidnei da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toren Potterman in the 59th minute of play. Sidnei da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavin Warner, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Rozen Lipsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Netto in the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Renascença A.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kauã Pernambucano hit a great ball. Kauã Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, G.R.'s Efran Arnstein got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Jairo Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rozen Lipsky didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3.
