In the 9th minute, OROTINENSE's Ernesto Barrantes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 24th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. OROTINENSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luís Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ulises Villegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Luz in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as OROTINENSE had held the ball for most of the match.
