After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Sílvio Luís Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caio dos Santos came out of the goal and Sílvio Luís Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elder Luz struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Caio dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Cachoeirinha. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Percival Marinho hit a great ball. With a little luck, Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos got control of the ball when Elder Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Elder Luz put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Caio dos Santos. When Maverick Futebol Clube's Percival Marinho in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalie prevented a goal. After 22 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Norberto de Carvalho. After 24 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Botelho. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Botelho in the 27th minute of play. A hard shot 29 in the game by Elder Luz from a close distance when the talented Caio dos Santos managed to make a qualified save. Maverick Futebol Clube's players were relieved. Percival Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ismael de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Elder Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caio dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Oséas Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Sampaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio dos Santos. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luís Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

Zé Recife hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Elder Luz took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio dos Santos. Caio dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 61 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Sampaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio dos Santos. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luís Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Luz in the 66th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Botelho came free, but Ismael de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Elder Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caio dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe de Souza during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Filipe de Souza. After 87 minutes, Elder Luz made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Ismael de Carvalho managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Maverick Futebol Clube's Sérgio Dante fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the S.E. Cachoeirinha defense, Sérgio Dante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. The S.E. Cachoeirinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that S.E. Cachoeirinha were the better team. S.E. Cachoeirinha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
