The OROTINENSE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Villegas should have stopped the shot. Kip Connelly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Orozco went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Buenaventura Paniagua made the kick off in the second half. If Buenaventura Paniagua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Creekers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
