Calvin Strohmayer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Matheus Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Hagi in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jamar Vang was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 杜荣镇 in the 55th minute of play forced G.R.'s goalkeeper Matheus Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gică Hagi came free, but Matheus Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. G.R.'s Matheus Toscano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save G.R. from getting a goal against them. After 94 minutes G.R.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 杜荣镇 who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed 吴梁潮 to score against Matheus Toscano in G.R.'s goal. 0-1 after 95 minutes. When the match was over 淡泊明志&宁静致远 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than G.R. throughout the match.
