Krzysztof Bulkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prosper Vandamme had several of the Inter de Melão's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Davi Valadares as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 31 played minutes Inter de Melão got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Novaes. With a little luck, Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares got control of the ball when Zdzislaw Biraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Davi Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Biraga in the 36th minute. Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Latkiewicz in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Zenon Hetman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1909 Tarnovia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Melão the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prosper Vandamme to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Latkiewicz came free, but Davi Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Pernambucano charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnaba Latkiewicz in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Valadares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davi Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Biraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Inter de Melão's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerzy Grocholski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led 1909 Tarnovia's Jerzy Grocholski to fire away a dangerous shot which Davi Valadares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 1909 Tarnovia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Inter de Melão had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
