In the 10th minute of the match GUTIERREZ SC got a corner. Magallanes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pocho Lavezzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomás Las Casas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Pleban in the 11th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pocho Lavezzi made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Pelagius came free, but Tomás Las Casas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, GUTIERREZ SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pocho Lavezzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Pocho Lavezzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Las Casas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GUTIERREZ SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
