The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Zenon Hetman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benedict Baird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Velasco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Resistencia Tayrona FC's zone, Barnaba Latkiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislav Dvorskiy came out of the goal and Barnaba Latkiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislav Dvorskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Biraga in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Resistencia Tayrona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Biraga came free, but Stanislav Dvorskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute 1909 Tarnovia were awarded a corner. Jerzy Grocholski went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on 1909 Tarnovia's corner Jerzy Grocholski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stanislav Dvorskiy quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Kracke came free, but Maksymilian Prusinowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislav Dvorskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Grocholski in the 23rd minute of play. Stanislav Dvorskiy came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by 1909 Tarnovia's Jerzy Grocholski. But to his dismay, Jerzy Grocholski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Victorino Bonifaco kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Stanislav Dvorskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Hetman in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Grocholski in the 30th minute of play forced Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Stanislav Dvorskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çağan Serol hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 1909 Tarnovia's Maksymilian Prusinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Bonifaco in the 34th minute of play. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 36th minute of play. Maksymilian Prusinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Kracke in the 39th minute of the match. Stanislav Dvorskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Biraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Prosper Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Dvorskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

1909 Tarnovia's Jakub Gondela was substituted for Zenon Gaszynski. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prosper Vandamme was the one to do the kick off. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, 1909 Tarnovia's Çağan Serol seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Çağan Serol the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 1909 Tarnovia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Çağan Serol had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Maksymilian Prusinowski had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Ingmar Kracke's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Ingmar Kracke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maksymilian Prusinowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Maksymilian Prusinowski didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Resistencia Tayrona FC's Taurino Hernaiz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-4 in the ordered_time% minute. 98 minutes into the game, Ingmar Kracke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Maksymilian Prusinowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
