In the 19th minute, Reynaldo Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Santos de Buenos Aires FC booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Amado Corderall tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 30 minutes of play, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Danilo Seber made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edinho Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there!
