GUTIERREZ SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Max Verstappen in the 26th minute. The corner led GUTIERREZ SC's Albano Venerando to fire away a dangerous shot which Feliciano Ayala despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th match minute, GUTIERREZ SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Verstappen to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in GUTIERREZ SC's zone, Danilo Seber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Thomas came out of the goal and Danilo Seber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Max Verstappen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Nicasio Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Mateusz Pleban managed to get in a good position for a shot. GUTIERREZ SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateusz Pleban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Ayala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Seber scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicasio Thomas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 53rd minute, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Danilo Seber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicasio Thomas. When Danilo Seber came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Seber couldn't finish the play. GUTIERREZ SC's Nicasio Thomas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save GUTIERREZ SC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Pelagius in the 76th minute of play forced Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
