The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicasio Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Gines in the 3rd minute of the match. Ladislao Gines made a great header on Creekers's corner, it was just that GUTIERREZ SC's Nicasio Thomas managed to reach the ball for a save. A hard shot 6 in the game by Ladislao Gines from a close distance when the talented Nicasio Thomas managed to make a qualified save. GUTIERREZ SC's players were relieved. Nicasio Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper Nicasio Thomas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Creekers's Ladislao Gines nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicasio Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Creekers booed when GUTIERREZ SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Gines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Ladislao Gines dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicasio Thomas, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in GUTIERREZ SC's zone, William Kerns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Thomas came out of the goal and William Kerns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gines in the 32nd minute of play forced GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper Nicasio Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ladislao Gines sped through GUTIERREZ SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicasio Thomas. After a rather tough play, GUTIERREZ SC's Ilias Porneos got a free kick in the 39th minute. Nicasio Thomas made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ladislao Gines sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Gines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Creekers's Riley Trotter was substituted for Ladislao Gines. 62 minutes into the match, Riley Trotter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Thomas. GUTIERREZ SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Riley Trotter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Nicasio Thomas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Riley Trotter's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Riley Trotter scored 8-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicasio Thomas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute Riley Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riley Trotter took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicasio Thomas. Nicasio Thomas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After having played for 76 minutes, Riley Trotter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creekers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Riley Trotter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the GUTIERREZ SC defense, Riley Trotter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Thomas. The GUTIERREZ SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Thomas should have stopped the shot. Riley Trotter struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Nicasio Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creekers. Creekers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
