After a defensive mix-up in Santos de Buenos Aires FC's zone, 袁昂宁 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Ayala came out of the goal and 袁昂宁 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 袁昂宁 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Feliciano Ayala made a huge save. In the 10th minute Albino Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliciano Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gibor Smolkin in the 14th minute of play. Matheus Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio James in the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves 袁昂宁 could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Feliciano Ayala however easily saved by the left post. Teodosio James kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When Gilad Danieli came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the G.R. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilad Danieli couldn't finish the play. Matheus Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Albino Canor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Matheus Toscano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matheus Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Canor in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Danilo Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio James in the 38th minute of play forced G.R.'s goalkeeper Matheus Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Santos de Buenos Aires FC's corner Albino Canor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matheus Toscano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 44th minute, Danilo Seber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matheus Toscano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Seber made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yashawn Kronfield in the 53rd minute of play forced Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio James in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute 袁昂宁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. G.R.'s Matheus Toscano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save G.R. from getting a goal against them. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Feliciano Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yashawn Kronfield in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to G.R. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gilad Danieli hit a great ball. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Bruno Cambiasso was substituted for Hipolito Rozarius. The supporters of Santos de Buenos Aires FC booed when G.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilad Danieli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Seber came free, but Matheus Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Danilo Seber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matheus Toscano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a little luck, G.R.'s Matheus Toscano got control of the ball when Teodosio James tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vitoldas Dovydaitis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Seber in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matheus Toscano saved G.R. from getting behind. Danilo Seber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Toscano having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Teodosio James managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio James was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Seber in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matheus Toscano saved G.R. from getting behind. Matheus Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Canor in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in G.R.'s zone, Teodosio James stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matheus Toscano came out of the goal and Teodosio James tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
