If Prosper Vandamme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's Prosper Vandamme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus Toscano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of 1909 Tarnovia booed when G.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamar Vang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goalkeeper Matheus Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prosper Vandamme. In the last second Matheus Toscano throw himself and got hold of the ball when Prosper Vandamme in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 16th minute of play forced G.R.'s goalkeeper Matheus Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to G.R. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Guguh Saepuloh hit a great ball. Matheus Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prosper Vandamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 55 played minutes G.R. got a freekick which was hit by 袁昂宁. But to his dismay, Çağan Serol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 77th minute Prosper Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matheus Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prosper Vandamme in the 79th minute of play. 1909 Tarnovia's Maksymilian Prusinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamar Vang in the 80th minute of play. Matheus Toscano came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by 1909 Tarnovia's Jerzy Grocholski. But to his dismay, Jerzy Grocholski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Jerzy Grocholski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakub Gondela might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matheus Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jakub Gondela ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in G.R.'s zone, Prosper Vandamme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matheus Toscano came out of the goal and Prosper Vandamme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matheus Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Căliman in the 94th minute of play. Matheus Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Hetman in the 97th minute of play. G.R.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
