The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

During the 89th minute of the match Mihai Poalelungi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mihai Poalelungi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 90 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Poalelungi. Leonard Caragea kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute of the match Ronald Kask shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilie Mavrogheni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Buffalo Timişoara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
