After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Mathieu-Maxim Wouqier got a free kick in the 16th minute. Tony Van Der Weghen had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Karahan Yanal from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 28th minute, Erdinç Talay fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tony Van Der Weghen, passed just outside the right post. Julius Balthazar struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Naci Talha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bruges. With a little luck, FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen got control of the ball when Karahan Yanal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hamdi Çolak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tony Van Der Weghen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Andırın SK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ersin Geylani hit a great ball. FC Bruges's Mathieu-Maxim Wouqier got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Mathieu-Maxim Wouqier off the ground. In the 40th match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu-Maxim Wouqier to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Erdinç Talay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tony Van Der Weghen. Erdinç Talay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hamdi Çolak scored 4-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tony Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdinç Talay in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karahan Yanal in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Van Der Weghen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Richy Wiggers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Van Der Weghen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdi Çolak in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Karahan Yanal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Hamdi Çolak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Tony Van Der Weghen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the match, Erdinç Talay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen. FC Bruges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erdinç Talay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Lorenzo Loozen hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Lorenzo Loozen kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Erdinç Talay took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Van Der Weghen. Tony Van Der Weghen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. In the 80th minute, Hamdi Çolak made a precise shot to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen. FC Bruges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Tony Van Der Weghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karahan Yanal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Erdinç Talay might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Van Der Weghen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erdinç Talay ran back to his position shaking his head. When Erdinç Talay came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Andırın SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erdinç Talay couldn't finish the play. FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karahan Yanal in the 90th minute of play. Tony Henderickx scored 8-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Naci Talha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Bruges players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Andırın SK.
