A nice corner shot did that Mugur Hudiță got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Horea Hurmuzache quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mugur Covataru kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Mugur Covataru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, David Greblă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DINAMO and the Buffalo Timişoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gelu Tăutu's late challenge caught a Buffalo Timişoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gelu Tăutu helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Tăutu. In the 19th minute, Leonard Caragea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Hurmuzache was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Buffalo Timişoara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mugur Hudiță in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, the referee gave Buffalo Timişoara a penalty. Mugur Hudiță looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Horea Hurmuzache. Leonard Carageas short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Horea Hurmuzache to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 40 in the game by Leonard Caragea from a close distance when the talented Horea Hurmuzache managed to make a qualified save. DINAMO's players were relieved. 43 minutes into the match, Mugur Covataru notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache. Horea Hurmuzache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mugur Covataru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horea Hurmuzache having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonard Caragea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when David Greblă came free, but Ilie Mavrogheni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mugur Covataru came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Buffalo Timişoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Covataru couldn't finish the play. Ilie Mavrogheni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Greblă, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Caragea in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Hurmuzache saved DINAMO from getting behind. The Buffalo Timişoara fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Buffalo Timişoara's Leonard Caragea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Leonard Caragea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Hurmuzache was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 88th minute, DINAMO's Liviu Găvan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilie Mavrogheni. Ilie Mavrogheni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Leonard Caragea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buffalo Timişoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Caragea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Hurmuzache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Alexandru Boieraș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes, Adam Rednic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DINAMO and the Buffalo Timişoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Adam Rednic hit a great ball. Horea Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Caragea in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Buffalo Timişoara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
