Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harold Lloyd in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Van Der Weghen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tony Van Der Weghen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Lloyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Ethan Zamora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tony Van Der Weghen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the game, Heavenly Hooters's Harold Lloyd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Van Der Weghen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 29th minute, Harold Lloyd made a precise shot to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen. FC Bruges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 32 minutes into the game, Eric Goodwin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heavenly Hooters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bruges the free kick. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Eric Goodwin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Heavenly Hooters were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after FC Bruges's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shawn Banks took the corner. Heavenly Hooters's Shawn Banks was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tony Van Der Weghen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 41 minutes into the game, Heavenly Hooters's Ethan Zamora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Van Der Weghen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Max Langford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tony Van Der Weghen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Ethan Zamora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen. FC Bruges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ethan Zamora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The FC Bruges players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Heavenly Hooters were winning 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harold Lloyd made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Eric Goodwin got a free kick in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Fairbanks. After some careless play in the FC Bruges defense, Shawn Banks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen. The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Van Der Weghen should have stopped the shot. Tony Van Der Weghen was a little too slow when Harold Lloyd got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-11. 74 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ethan Zamora. FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bruges from getting a goal against them. Tony Van Der Weghen made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Max Langford sent off a good shot on target. Tony Van Der Weghen was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Conal Toovey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shawn Banks in the 86th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Banks in the 88th minute of play. Tony Van Der Weghen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harold Lloyd in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Shawn Banks dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tony Van Der Weghen, 0-13. Heavenly Hooters played a much better game than FC Bruges and deserved their victory. The FC Bruges players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
