Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tony Henderickx started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Radomil Czubski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Hajto in the 10th minute of play. Tony Van Der Weghen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zdzislaw Wawro went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lukasz Hajto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Witold Raszkiewicz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Jasper Opdebeeck came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Bruges fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jasper Opdebeeck couldn't finish the play. Tony Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Wawro in the 28th minute of the match. When Lukasz Hajto came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Sójcze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukasz Hajto couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Tony Henderickx could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Ksawery Frodyma however easily saved by the left post. In the 38th minute, Zdzislaw Wawro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Sójcze fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Richy Wiggers got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Zdzislaw Wawro took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Van Der Weghen. Tony Van Der Weghen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zdzislaw Wawro to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomir Jestrimski during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ksawery Frodyma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Henderickx in the 58th minute of the match. Tony Van Der Weghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Wawro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tony Van Der Weghen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Kossakowski in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Wawro in the 68th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Bruges from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Radomil Czubski put in a rough tackle. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Sójcze! FC Sójcze:s Ksawery Frodyma showed great skill when he stopped Jasper Opdebeeck:s penalty. The supporters of FC Sójcze booed when FC Bruges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Bormans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszek Tepper. Zdzislaw Wawro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tony Van Der Weghen firmly grabbed it by the left post. 88 minutes into the match, FC Sójcze's Zdzislaw Wawro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Van Der Weghen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Tepper got free with Tony Van Der Weghen in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorie Van Beersel hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Zbyszek Tepper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Tony Van Der Weghen made a huge save. When Zbyszek Tepper fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sójcze's protests and gave Zbyszek Tepper a yellow card for diving instead. Zbyszek Tepper hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Gregorie Van Beersel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Sójcze players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
