With a little luck, DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache got control of the ball when Yannis Perathoner tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Marcel Anisie hit a great ball. Horea Hurmuzache made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Enrico Vogt sent off a good shot on target. Enrico Vogt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Horea Hurmuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of DINAMO booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Witzig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Vogt hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Enrico Vogt came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Horea Hurmuzache could save by the left post. In the 19th minute of the match Zelg FC got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hercules Brütsch ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Zelg FC's Andy Fossati getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's Andy Fossati sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Hurmuzache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrico Vogt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Enrico Vogt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Enrico Vogt got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Holm Felder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Şoimu. The attack was good, but when Enrico Vogt in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Zelg FC's Enrico Vogt got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yannis Perathoner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. Feodor Thelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Anisie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When Zelg FC's Enrico Vogt in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. Enrico Vogt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. Horea Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Vogt in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's Enrico Vogt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Hurmuzache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Enrico Vogt, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Horea Hurmuzache was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Enrico Vogt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Bobocea in the 65th minute of play forced Zelg FC's goalkeeper Feodor Thelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Basarab Şoimu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feodor Thelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Enrico Vogt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Vogt in the 73rd minute of the match. Yannis Perathoner struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Horea Hurmuzache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zelg FC. Enrico Vogt scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horea Hurmuzache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Vogt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, DINAMO's Basarab Şoimu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Enrico Vogt sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
