With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naci Talha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th match minute, Andırın SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ersin Geylani to maneuver through the defense. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karahan Yanal in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Pascoal Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st match minute, Andırın SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ersin Geylani to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Santana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Naci Talha came out and tried to block the shot, but Norberto Santana slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. Sérgio Passos came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Andırın SK's Karahan Yanal. But to his dismay, Karahan Yanal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 30 played minutes Andırın SK got a freekick which was hit by Celal Engiay. Hamdi Çolak scored 1-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Passos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andırın SK's Karahan Yanal got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, GD JULIO DINIS's Pascoal Braga got a free kick in the 36th minute. Andırın SK's Naci Talha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Andırın SK from getting a goal against them. If Hamdi Çolak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Erdinç Talay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the GD JULIO DINIS defense, Erdinç Talay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Passos. The GD JULIO DINIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Passos should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geraldo Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hamdi Çolak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Karahan Yanal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Passos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Andırın SK's Erdinç Talay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sérgio Passos. That made the score 1-6 after 70 minutes of play. Andırın SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bekir Tarık in the 75th minute. The corner led Andırın SK's Bekir Tarık to fire away a dangerous shot which Sérgio Passos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 78th minute, Karahan Yanal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Passos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. In the 82nd minute Erdinç Talay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Passos made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Hamdi Çolak sent off a good shot on target.
