KP Skępe's Zbigniew Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoud Ooms. In the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbigniew Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play.

Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Zbigniew Glogowski made a huge save. One of KP Skępe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbigniew Glogowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KP Skępe's goalkeeper Zbigniew Glogowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
