Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zbigniew Paraszczuk started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis got control of the ball when Stanislav Búlgarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 3rdth minute of the game Stanislav Búlgarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vitomir Starokin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Paraszczuk in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stanislav Búlgarov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hans Curtis came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Bulgaria's Stanislav Búlgarov. But to his dismay, Stanislav Búlgarov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 18th minute, Stanislav Búlgarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Lundgren during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamin Lundgren hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Marko Ruskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Curtis having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislav Búlgarov got free with Hans Curtis in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Marko Ruskov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hans Curtis. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Vitomir Starokin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Paraszczuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a little luck, VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis got control of the ball when Stanislav Búlgarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 minutes VN FC Spartak-Varna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stanislav Búlgarov who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Bulgaria's Stanislav Búlgarov to fire away a dangerous shot which Hans Curtis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd minute Marko Ruskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Curtis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Bulgaria's Hans Curtis threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marko Ruskov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ademar Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vitomir Starokin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivier Giroud's late challenge caught a Bulgaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olivier Giroud helped the player get up and apologised. Olivier Giroud hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Hans Curtis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stanislav Búlgarov. With his leg Hans Curtis managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Bulgaria's Stanislav Búlgarov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stanislav Búlgarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Hans Curtis made a huge save. Hans Curtis made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Stanislav Búlgarov sent off a good shot on target. Stanislav Búlgarov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hans Curtis came out and tried to block the shot, but Stanislav Búlgarov slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislav Búlgarov was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, VN FC Spartak-Varna's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Búlgarov came free, but Hans Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Curtis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislav Búlgarov's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Ruskov in the 60th minute of play forced VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalkeeper Hans Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislav Búlgarov took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hans Curtis. Hans Curtis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Búlgarov in the 67th minute of play forced VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalkeeper Hans Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bulgaria's Velichko Dúrov got a free kick in the 69th minute. VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Búlgarov in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, VN FC Spartak-Varna's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Búlgarov came free, but Hans Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Curtis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parvan Dakelov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbigniew Paraszczuk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vitomir Starokin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stanislav Búlgarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Curtis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Bulgaria's Milan Okov was substituted for Velichko Dúrov. Bulgaria's Vladislav Serdarov was substituted for Elin Popovski. If Stanislav Búlgarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislav Búlgarov in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Curtis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute Parvan Dakelov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Curtis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Curtis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Búlgarov in the 93rd minute of the match. Bulgaria's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
