When Real Juniors's Sebastian Kazczyk in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 10th minute, Joseph Paulin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alisson Becker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Real Juniors defense, Joseph Paulin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alisson Becker. The Real Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alisson Becker should have stopped the shot. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Alisson Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Kazczyk in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Paulin came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Ahmet Efe Suheyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's Joseph Paulin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alisson Becker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alisson Becker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Paulin went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ahmet Efe Suheyl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carl-Chester Vallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joseph Paulin came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the VBL Stockholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Paulin couldn't finish the play. Zula Furtok hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Ahmet Efe Suheyl made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Paulin came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl-Chester Vallgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 56th minute. Real Juniors's Miguel Ángel Benito was substituted for Ahmet Efe Suheyl. Real Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team.
