Nektarios Varveris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Abancens in the 10th minute of the match. Sebastian Vettel charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Vettel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Vettel hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in General Tanz II's zone, Irinel Tatomir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Tatomir couldn't finish the play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Basilio Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Nektarios Varveris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 24th minute of play forced General Tanz II's goalkeeper Hermengildo Tipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
