The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ali Tumena the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Toho protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ali Tumena had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Toho! Eugen Mihălțan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Nektarios Varveris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feng Lin Jie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, FC Toho's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Tatomir came free, but Tobias Glöden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Nektarios Varveris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Liang in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, FC Toho's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Tatomir came free, but Tobias Glöden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irinel Tatomir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nektarios Varveris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feng Lin Jie in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Irinel Tatomir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feng Lin Jie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nektarios Varveris having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Ghimiș in the 47th minute of play forced FC Toho's goalkeeper Tobias Glöden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xu Liang was the one to do the kick off. Tobias Glöden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Irinel Tatomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Glöden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Nektarios Varveris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feng Lin Jie in the 56th minute of play. Lucrețiu Ghimiș took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Glöden. Tobias Glöden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tobias Glöden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Lucrețiu Ghimiș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Glöden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Tobias Glöden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 80th minute of play. FC Toho's Xu Liang got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 played minutes FC Toho got a freekick which was hit by Feng Lin Jie. Tobias Glöden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 85th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Ghimiș hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Xu Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nektarios Varveris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucrețiu Ghimiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Irinel Tatomir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Glöden. FC Toho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irinel Tatomir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 94 minutes into the match, FC Toho's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Tatomir came free, but Tobias Glöden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
