Emil Cvitanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Tatomir, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The audience was convinced that Irinel Tatomir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Cvitanović was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Emil Cvitanović made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Lucrețiu Ghimiș sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 70th minute of play forced ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalkeeper Nektarios Varveris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Irinel Tatomir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Irinel Tatomir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emil Cvitanović. That made the score 1-2 in the 90 minute of play. Nektarios Varveris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 93rd minute of play.
