The B&B Jelenia Góra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilbert Kordalewski should have stopped the shot. Carl-Chester Vallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincent Szotek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Trinca in the 18th minute of play. Gilbert Kordalewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Johnsson in the 23rd minute of the match. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Trinca in the 24th minute of play.
