The supporters of Toby Futbol Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Jose Correa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Lodowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Toby Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Orlondo. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Delmiro Quinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Delmiro Quinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodosio Fernandez in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toby Futbol Club's attentive Osvaldo Orlondo managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Krzysztof Lodowy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Fernandez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodosio Fernandez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. Teodosio Fernandez took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 42nd match minute, Toby Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Toby Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Sindo. 47 minutes into the game, Teodosio Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Fernandez to make the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Fernandez in the 53rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toby Futbol Club made a substitution. Epifanio Montez replaced Ismael Montae. Toby Futbol Club's Anibal Donzel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 69 minute of the game. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Valiente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Montez kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Krzysztof Lodowy was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote threw the ball into play from the sideline. Toby Futbol Club's Osvaldo Orlondo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 91st match minute, Toby Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邵战康 to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Teodosio Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
