Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. Geovanni Soeiro made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Edmílson Veloso. 5 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmílson Veloso. In the 10th minute, Edmílson Veloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sosoco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino Arruda was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Arruda having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sosoco FC's Diamantino Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Sosoco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Sebastian Villa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After having played for 30 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diamantino Arruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Villa's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Enio Azevedo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enio Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Diamantino Arruda threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sosoco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diamantino Arruda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Edmílson Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Sosoco FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Sosoco FC's Enio Azevedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 75th minute of play forced Sosoco FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Diamantino Arruda made a huge save. Diamantino Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Azevedo in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovanni Soeiro got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edmílson Veloso. Diamantino Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 92nd minute of the match. Diamantino Arruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Veloso in the 95th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
