With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lance Eyre in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Janes Van Huruck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 14 in the game by Ronny Sutherland from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced Hythe Rangers United's goalkeeper Janes Van Huruck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janes Van Huruck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Agustín Saelices heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 29th minute, Luke Hislop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Janes Van Huruck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ronny Sutherland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hythe Rangers United's goalkeeper Janes Van Huruck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hythe Rangers United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Hythe Rangers United's Janes Van Huruck managed to reach the ball for a save. Janes Van Huruck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Juan Sebastián Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Janes Van Huruck to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Janes Van Huruck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Zak Crocker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Hythe Rangers United's Ronny Sutherland in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Janes Van Huruck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Janes Van Huruck in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janes Van Huruck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ollie Paterson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Janes Van Huruck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Agustín Saelices showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
