Marcelinho Amorim hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ismael Furlan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulão Penha having to make a save. Paulão Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jonas Nettos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Fabian Benvido to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 36 played minutes SE Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Santana. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ismael Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momentum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Ismael Furlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Momentum FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. SE Palestra Itália's Paulão Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Furlan in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nico Fanta was the one to do the kick off. Paulão Penha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ismael Furlan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Agustin Figueroa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christiano Figueiredo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Paulão Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Furlan in the 71st minute.
