Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Mundo to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Benicio Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CACYFA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Mundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AC Civetta Notturna's Mark Evans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Menendo in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Civetta Notturna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Apolo Crispo was slow to take the kick. During this time CACYFA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Apolo Crispo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mark Evans quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mark Evans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, AC Civetta Notturna's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Menendo came free, but Mark Evans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC Civetta Notturna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
