Omar Cuartio charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Cuartio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodosio Isauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabiano Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Isauro made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Isaltino Penha sent off a good shot on target. After 28 played minutes SE Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Sabóia. Omar Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Paulão Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Tavio's late challenge caught a SE Palestra Itália's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Tavio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SE Palestra Itália booed when LOS MENTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Isauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaltino Penha's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Jonas Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Cuartio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acar Buğrahan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodosio Isauro having to make a save. LOS MENTI's Teodosio Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Penha in the 40th minute of play. Acar Buğrahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Teodosio Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
