The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of CACYFA booed when QUASAR AZULGRANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, QUASAR AZULGRANA's Ferrer Arias got control of the ball when Rolando Zárate tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute Alfredo Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrer Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Lorenz in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Emeterio came free, but Ferrer Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Goi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Ferrer Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Aznaro in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Zárate in the 25th minute of play forced QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Ferrer Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Saturnin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Orlondon, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, QUASAR AZULGRANA's Bernabe Efren got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the game, CACYFA's Alfredo Emeterio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferrer Arias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Celedonio Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Orlondon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Goi made a great header on QUASAR AZULGRANA's corner, it was just that CACYFA's Celedonio Saturnin managed to reach the ball for a save. Ferrer Arias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Zárate in the 43rd minute. Ferrer Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Emeterio in the 46th minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Camilo Lehoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the QUASAR AZULGRANA and the CACYFA players grew even worse after the yellow card.
