In the 12th minute Rasmus Højlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bora Ersal in the 18th minute of play forced CACYFA's goalkeeper Celedonio Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Alejo Cucao got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Stojmen Tujković got control of the ball when Jaime Dominguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee ignored CACYFA's protests and gave Benicio Mundo a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the CACYFA defense, Rasmus Højlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Saturnin. The CACYFA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Saturnin should have stopped the shot. A collision led to CACYFA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jaime Dominguez hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's goalkeeper Stojmen Tujković had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Zárate. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rasmus Højlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stojmen Tujković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Aznaro in the 50th minute of play. After 56 played minutes CACYFA got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Dominguez. 60 minutes into the match, F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Emeterio came free, but Stojmen Tujković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stojmen Tujković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Dominguez in the 64th minute of play. Celedonio Saturnin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bora Ersal in the 65th minute. With a little luck, CACYFA's Celedonio Saturnin got control of the ball when Rasmus Højlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute Rasmus Højlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CACYFA's Celedonio Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Højlund in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of CACYFA booed when F.C BEŞİKTAŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bora Ersal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Apolo Crispo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celedonio Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Højlund in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fryderyk Gajewski got free with Celedonio Saturnin in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fryderyk Gajewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Saturnin having to interfere. Alejo Cucao who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Celedonio Saturnin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Celedonio Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fryderyk Gajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CACYFA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's performance. The match ended with a win for F.C BEŞİKTAŞ.
