Anastasio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romão Mourato, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Romão Mourato scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anastasio Maldonado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 10th minute of the game was made by Wilfredo Gil with Freddy Bastian as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romão Mourato in the 12th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Maldonado made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Romão Mourato sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Falckner FC's Anastasio Maldonado got control of the ball when Romão Mourato tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Romão Mourato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romão Mourato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anastasio Maldonado came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Roneros F.C.'s Romão Mourato. But to his dismay, Romão Mourato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Roneros F.C. booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Wilfredo Gil fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falckner FC's protests and gave Wilfredo Gil a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Gil. Anastasio Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Mourato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Romão Mourato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Maldonado came out of the goal and Romão Mourato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Romão Mourato notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Falckner FC's Anastasio Maldonado. Anastasio Maldonado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anastasio Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romão Mourato in the 44th minute of the match. Romão Mourato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anastasio Maldonado having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romão Mourato to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Maldonado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 53 minutes, Romão Mourato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roneros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Romão Mourato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Roneros F.C. booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roneros F.C.'s Witomir Jestrimski got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roneros F.C. made a substitution. Patrick Viera replaced Romão Mourato. Alberto Edorta kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Rigoberto Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Patrick Viera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Roneros F.C.'s corner Cordero Aberasturi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anastasio Maldonado quite easily take care of the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Roneros F.C.'s Witomir Jestrimski made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Maldonado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute Witomir Jestrimski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Patrick Viera sped through Falckner FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anastasio Maldonado. Anastasio Maldonado came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Roneros F.C.'s Witomir Jestrimski. But to his dismay, Witomir Jestrimski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Viera in the 87th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witomir Jestrimski in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Maldonado saved Falckner FC from getting behind. Anastasio Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Jestrimski in the 91st minute of the match.
