Loco De Remate's attentive Roberto Mouzo managed to snatch the ball when Walter San Juan made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Aires came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco De Remate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Aires made a kick off. Rene Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Rosa in the 55th minute of play. After 63 minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leandro Virila who took care of the corner kick. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Christobal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Christobal, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Wei Li kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Christobal came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Dep Colonia Avellaneda lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
